Alpha library segment is pretty cool. Interesting that a book rental company will actually promote libraries.

Would you consider reviewing <a href="http://www.openlibrary.com" rel="nofollow">OpenLibrary.org</a>?

The founder actually shared a library convention in Denver last year with the 2 bookswim boys.

I have to say this about the Kindle (and I was surprised that Amazon has just released the Kindle 2 already) and why I will never buy it or the many other kinds that are out there.

The Kindle will never replace the smell of a good book. Let me explain. I love walking into a bookstore or library and taking in the wonderful fragrance of books. It's an aphrodisiac to the reader. The texture of a book cover, the feel of a page is what a reader of books lives for.

The Kindle smells of technology. Cold, hard plastic, that traps what a reader wants in their book. It seperates the bond of a book that a reader has with the story. Now, come on. Wouldn't you rather be seen patting the cover of a book that touched our hearts or boggled our minds or would you rather be seen burping the back of a Kindle?
