The writing is a little bit patchy - as another reviewer said - and I think he spends too much time talking about specifics of mountaineering... but when he talks about the actual work? I was speechless.
This and "Mountains Beyond Mountains" are the two most inspiring books that I have read in years.

This is the single most inspiring book I've read in 10+ years.
