ELIGIBILITY: This prize drawing is open to legal residents of the U.S., who are 18 years of age and older. Employees of the BookSwim Corporation, its affiliates, subsidiaries, members, promotion and advertising agencies, subsidiaries and related companies and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children and siblings, and each of their respective spouses regardless of residence) and household members of each, whether related or not, are ineligible.
1. HOW TO ENTER/DEADLINES: Each sweepstakes begins and ends at its stated time in the contest description. Stated days end at 11:59:59 pm Pacific Time (PT). To be entered, any of the following actions must be taken. One entry will be awarded for each action taken: Click the 'Enter' button on the desired giveaway; Select to tweet about your entry; Select to post a message on your facebook wall; and/or Select to post to your GoodReads wall; Two entries are given for each action if you are a pre-existing member of BookSwim and are logged in.
Alternatively, To enter without purchase or obligation, hand print your name, address, city, state, zip, day and evening phone numbers, email address and the words BookSwim.com's Free Book Giveaway on a 3 x 5 card, and mail in a stamped envelope to: BookSwim.com's Sweepstakes Department, 211 Warren Street, Suite 305, Newark, New Jersey 07103. Mail-in entries must be received by the final day of the giveaway.
Entries may be subject to verification prior to prize drawing. In the event of dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry, provided such person meets all eligibility requirements set forth in these Official Rules. The "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an email address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization responsible for assigning email addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Any entries not in conformance with these Official Rules will be disqualified. No responsibility is assumed by the BookSwim Corporation for lost, late, misdirected or illegible entries. All entries become the property of the BookSwim Corporation and will not be returned or acknowledged.
2. PRIZES: The prize of the giveaway is the stated item in the giveaway. Only items noted in the giveaway description are provided as prizes.
3. ODDS: The actual odds of winning are up to 1/1,000.
4. PRIZE RESTRICTIONS/CONDITIONS: Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable. No substitution or cash equivalent of prize permitted. Prize is subject to space availability. Federal, state and local taxes, if any, and any other costs or expenses related to acceptance and use of the prize not specified including gratuities, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Package redemption will be based upon availability and expires as per dates in prize details. Certain restriction and blackout dates may apply. Winner will be notified by the BookSwim Corporation after receipt and verification of Prize Eligibility. Prize will be delivered to a winner's residence, approximately 6-8 weeks after notification by the BookSwim Corporation. Winner must take delivery within 30 days of notification of availability or prize will be forfeited and may be awarded to an alternate winner.
5. DRAWING: Prize will be awarded in a random drawing conducted on or about the last day of the contest by the BookSwim Corporation, 211 Warren Street, Suite 305, Newark, New Jersey 07103 from among all eligible entries received.
6. NOTIFICATION OF WINNER/AWARDING OF PRIZE: The winner will be notified by e-mail and/or a traceable form of delivery within 21 days of drawing.
7. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: The BookSwim Corporation is not responsible for any late, lost, incomplete or misdirected entries, nor is it responsible for incorrect or inaccurate information, whether caused by Web site users or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the prize drawing; any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access of the Web site; any injury or damage to participants or to any other person's computer(s) related to or resulting from participating in this prize drawing, or downloading materials from or use of the Web site. If, for any reason the prize drawing cannot be conducted as planned by reason of infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the control of the BookSwim Corporation which, in the sole opinion of BookSwim Corporation, corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this prize drawing, BookSwim Corporation reserves the right, in their sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the drawing and may conduct drawing and select a winners from among all eligible entries received for the drawing prior to the action taken. In no event will BookSwim Corporation be responsible or liable for any damages or losses of any kind, including direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of access to and use of the Web site bookswim.com, or the downloading from and/or printing material downloaded from said site. Without limiting the foregoing, everything on the site is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, either expressed or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. Some jurisdictions may not allow limitations or the exclusions of liability for incidental or consequential damages, or exclusion of implied warranties, so some of the aforementioned limitations or exclusions may not apply. Check local laws for any restrictions or conditions regarding these limitations and/or exclusions.
8. OFFICIAL RULES/WINNERS LIST REQUESTS: For a copy of the Official Rules, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: BookSwim.com's Free Book Giveaway Sweepstakes - RULES, c/o BookSwim.com's Sweepstakes Department, 211 Warren Street, Suite 305, Newark, New Jersey 07103 by the 21st of the drawing month. For the name of the winner, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: BookSwim.com's Twitter Giveaway Sweepstakes - WINNER, c/o BookSwim.com's Sweepstakes Department, 211 Warren Street, Suite 305, Newark, New Jersey 07103 by the 12th of the month following the drawing.
To enter without purchase, mail a self-addressed, stamped envelope with your full name, address, phone number, and valid e-mail address to: BookSwim.com's Twitter Giveaway Sweepstakes - ENTRY, c/o BookSwim.com's Sweepstakes Department, 211 Warren Street, Suite 305, Newark, New Jersey 07103 by the 21st of the drawing month.
