Daniel X is a wonderful childrens book written by James Patterson of Murder Mystery Genre fame. I would recommend this book for kids or adults that enjoy science fiction and fantasy adventure books. If you liked the Rick Riordan series "Percy Jackson and the Olympians" (one of my favorites), then you'll enjoy this book also.
Daniel is an orphan that has vowed revenge on the alien that murdered his parents when he was 3 years old. Daniel himself has special powers that allow him to overcome the many obstacles that come his way as he chases the different bad aliens.
I finished the book in a day. Couldn't put it down. It was a quick and easy read.
